With the help of Ramkrishna Vivekananda University, Belurmath we have organised Global week for Holistick welfare of children from 14m Nov. to 2O'h Nov. 2012 and we prayed for the benefit of children on 14” November, birth day of Chacha Nehru (Children’s day). On 22"d. & 23'd. September 2012 we have organised a workshop on the glorious Cultural Heritage of India-her Social Status, Class Division & Value Education. Prof. Arij it Sarkar delivered his valuable speech on the subject of Indian Culture its past and future. Swami Basabanandaji Maharaj delivered a valuable speech on Social Status, caste & creed and value education. A meaningful speech was delivered by Mr. Chandi Charan Dey of R.K. Mission Lok Siksha Parishad, Narendrapur on sustainable development of village along the path of Swami Vivekananda. On the occasion of Children Week, a swimming competition was organised on 24"‘. November 2012 at 11.00 A.M. at the pond beside Hotar Station under Hotar Marjada G.P. Nearly 90 students of class IV of nearby 10 schools and Child Labour Vidyapith were the participants. Sri Santanu Purkait, a National Swimmer delivered a speech on the utility of swimming on health and also on the preparation of mental health. Prof.Manoranjan Halclar, Ex. MP presided over the entire programme and Smt. Namita Saha, MLA was the Chief Guest. Mr. Atibur Rahaman, O.C, Magrahat Police Station and Mr. Khayrul Haq Laskar, Savapati Magrahat-Il Panchayet Samity were also present in the said programme to encourage the participants. Winners of the competition were encouraged by the prizes (Nine Prizes) and school bags and snacks were distributed among all the 90 participants. Above activities and functions are being carried out with limited financial resources and spontaneous support of local people. We try our best to achieve the objectives of each programme.
